Considering Dermacyte

Dermacyte is a regenerative wound care matrix that is safe and convenient option for chronic and acute wound treatment. It is a covering (allograft) derived from placental membrane, which harnesses the regenerative qualities of natural proteins to help enhance (reference) the body’s own healing process.

If you have had a wound for more than a few weeks and normal treatments have not been working, the wound may have stalled. Stalled wounds can be difficult to heal. They may become more expensive to manage and may be more likely to develop infections.

Dermacyte is designed specifically for hard-to-heal, chronic wounds, providing the collagen and growth factors the body needs to enhance its own healing process when used as a wound covering (reference). It is a safe, easy-to-use product that has been shown to be beneficial in supporting natural wound repair and decreasing the time it takes to close chronic wounds (reference).

For best results, follow all of your doctor’s directions when using Dermacyte.

The collagen and growth factors found in placental membranes provide the natural elements to enhancing healing, reducing inflammation and fighting infection, strengthening the wound bed, and reducing scarring of the skin on or around the wound (reference). Dermacyte is a better way to alleviate the distress or comfort of wound care, while closing wounds quicker than standard wound care treatments (reference).

A chronic wound is a persistent single, full thickness foot and/or leg wound that is diabetic, pressure, arterial or venous related. Chronic wounds are often unresponsive to other therapies, such as periodic debridement, moist dressings, antibiotics, hyperbaric oxygen, or glycemic control. Dermacyte is an effective, easy-to-use regenerative option for patients with chronic wounds, producing a more comfortable treatment process with reduced healing times.
